"The film is wonderful! It is moving and powerful in so many ways and it certainly should be seen by ALL New Zealanders and as many of the world's population as possible.
All you interview are so clearly people of the light as well as peace and the interplay of NZ wildlife, Maori instruments and chants is superb."
Jen Halliday

"Every part of the film was fascinating - the young man walked on the US submarine, the scene from the Peace Squadron, was impressive because it
tells us how much an ordinary people can do to impact on the bigger and greater power like US Navy.

The importance of women in peace movement is also important because they think about future through their babies and unborn babies.Women in Japan are in weaker position to those of men still now and it is a popular trend that the media makes fun of those powerful peace activists as being fanatic and eccentric, especially when they are women. So showing Kiwi women activists with stability, intelligence and with warm hearts and passion will be encouraging for sure.

I can't tell you enough about what I thought from the film!"

"The film was very moving , shed a few tears, wonderful photography of the sea creatures and birds and I especially liked the closeups of the speakers It makes their message so personal and arresting. The lovley sounds that connected it and kept it moving along were hauntingly beautiful and stay with me Congratulations!"

"I found the film wonderful and inspiring. It reminds me of all the great NZ people I know too, and how strong and frank they are. It is absolutely fascinating - the simplicity of the structure just highlights the power of what the people are saying and doing and the beauty of the nature sequences."
Carol Woodward, Librarian, Scotland.

"Sprinkled with moments of humour, this film celbrates humanity and creates a touchstone of hope for the future, it honours the intrinisic human desire to live peacfully. It pays tribute to the integrity and bravery of those who challenge the prevalent concept that war is an acceptable aspdect of society.... Beautifully crafted scenes of the ocean, exquisitely interwoven with the narrative sequences, remind us of it life force..... this film provides a record of the inspirational strong thread of peacmaking based in this land. Ms Gallagher has produced a fitting accolade to the human endeavour of peacemakers in aotearoa New Zeland and a treasure for future generations."
